my name is Bobby Falagrady and I found some dates of past lifting meets I was in. so I was wondering if the record posted could be updated with the date. it looks like it was held on march 30th 1996. the bench was 245. but it also could have been on dec 15th 1996 and that bench was 275 lbs.
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: I Benched 402 in this last meet in the State Games and i realize it was a State Record. Who do i contact to give that information to? Also what weight classes are they going by in this meet? The usapl or the IPF weight class. My name is Rick Geller and i thought i was in the 275 but i weigh in at 250. m2. If they go by the IPF weight clases i set a Raw record in the 262 class. ?????? i guess i’m confused. Thanks
Rick – We are not using the new weight classes at the local level yet. Your record will be in the 275′s. Send it a form to Jeanne Harms for the 275 weight class.
To whom it may concern : Records need to be updated for accuracy. The Colorado Record for 67k class Bench was broken in the 3 lift at the Rocky Mountain State Games in 2007 w/177.5 by Brian Montefolka. If you want these records to be accurate please update this.Thanks.
Anyone wanting their records updated keep several things in mind:
1. I need the Records Request form filled out and emailed or sent to me. You can find the records request form (MS Word format) on our CO USAPL website (I hope – I haven’t found it yet )
2. Any records older than 2 years can’t be recorded unless the record was set at a national meet that I can verify on the USAPL, NAPF, or IPF websites. Colorado’s meet results have been forwarded to me by the Meet Directors, so you needn’t send the results or signature for those. .Requests for records set at other sanctioned meets (e.g. in other states) must be accompanied by a copy of the meet results and the meet director’s signature Exceptions may be made if those state organizations post the official results on their own websites.
3. We are still using weights in kilos, not pounds.
4. We are using the old weight classes until at least the end of this year. Until the changeover, keep in mind that the wt. class you may compete in at a national meet affects where your record would be recorded in our state’s records database.
